Our practice was started by Dr. Alexander Doctoroff in 2004 after several years of work in a large dermatology group. His goal was to create a world-class institution addressing all the needs of dermatological patients right here in New Jersey. Today we have fulfilled this goal and work every day to bring you the newest and most advanced developments in the treatment of skin, hair and nail diseases. Our practice's expertise ranges from Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer, to allergy testing, to photodynamic therapy for acne. We specialize in facial rejuvenation and cosmetic procedures. We use dermoscopy (epiluminescent microscopy) for skin cancer detection. This method allows for more accurate detection of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma, and a decrease in the number of unnecessary biopsies.

In lieu of paper charts, our office features electronic patient medical records. Our system allows for electronic transmittal of laboratory results and prescriptions to pharmacies. This saves our patients a trip to the pharmacy to drop off the prescription and increases accuracy. We have offices in Clark & Teaneck, New Jersey.
